US Citizen Services

NOTE: AS OF JULY 1, 2008 – Walk-in Office Hours for routine US Citizen Services will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 1:30 to 3:00 PM and Friday 9:00 to 12:00 AM and 1:30 to 3:00 PM.

The American Citizen Services unit at US Consulate Chengdu provides services including passport renewals, passport extra pages, birth reports, notaries, and Certificates of Marriageability.

Walk-in Office hours (starting July 1, 2008):
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 1:30-3:00 PM
Friday 9:00-12:00 AM, 1:30-3:00 PM

We are closed for routine US Citizen Services on Wednesdays.

Emergencies

The ACS Unit provides emergency assistance to American citizens in distress: when an American is destitute, arrested, separated from minor children, or sick. In an emergency, the Consulate Duty Officer can be reached at any time by calling 1370-800-1422.
