Kunming Town Hall Meeting, 11/17/2009

The U.S. Consulate Chengdu would like to invite all Americans to attend a town hall meeting at Kunming International Academy on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 4:00 - 5:30 PM.  The meeting will take place on the second floor auditorium of the Kunming International Academy.  Kunming International Academy is located southwest of downtown Kunming at:

At the town hall meeting, we plan to show a DVD of a 30 minute presentation given by the US Embassy Beijing Chief Medical Officer where he discussed preparations for H1N1 and the upcoming fall flu season.

In addition, an officer from the Consular Section will be giving brief presentations and will be available to answer questions on routine Consular services, the registration/warden system, voting overseas, and emergency services for American citizens.  Routine notarials and consular services will not be provided at the event. 

All Americans throughout Sichuan, Chongqing, Kunming, Guizhou, and Tibet are welcome to attend.  Please note that space is limited to 200 attendees on a first come, first serve basis.
