Chengdu Townhall Meeting, Friday October 16, 2009

The U.S. Consulate Chengdu would like to invite all Americans to attend a Townhall Meeting at The Crowne Plaza Chengdu on Friday October 16, 2009 from 2:30 – 4:00 PM.  The meeting will take place in the Mississippi Grill Room, located on the 25th floor.  If you wish to come before 2:30, the hotel offers a lunch buffet for 98 RMB per person.  The hotel is located in the Jinjiang District at:

Consul General David Brown of US Consulate Chengdu and the US Embassy Beijing Chief Medical Officer will be present to discuss preparations for H1N1 and the upcoming fall flu season.

In addition, officers from the Consular Section will be giving brief presentations and are available to answer questions on routine Consular services, the warden system, voting overseas, and emergency services for American citizens.  Routine notarials and consular services will not be provided at the event. 

All Americans throughout Sichuan, Chongqing, Kunming, Guizhou, and Tibet are welcome to attend.  Please note that space is limited to 120 attendees on a first come, first serve basis.
